Claire joined WOPB in 2023, eager to learn and support the mission after having developed a love for gardening and birding ???.  Her appreciation for the benefits of native flora and fauna and the ecosystems they serve continues to grow.  She enjoys sharing her gardening experience and knowledge ????.  Claire is a graphic designer and is eager to assist WOPB as it assists with the Louisiana Native Plant Society’s LA Certified Habitat Program.  Her property is a LA Certified Habitat, at the Gold level.  Elected to WOPB’s board of directors in 2023, Claire is currently involved in WOPB’s work group addressing Plant Rescue projects.  Claire’s skills and experience are proving to be invaluable for WOPB. Claire’s favorite:

One of Claire’s favorite natives is Passiflora incarnata, commonly known as purple passionflower.  “I’ve known passionflower since I was a kid. My grandmother had it growing on her fence and it always fascinated me.  The flowers are so interesting.”
