Teri Gegenheimer currently serves as a volunteer ambassador for the Xerces Society, is a former member of the Board of Directors, and as well is a founding member of Wild Ones Pontchartrain Basin. She has extensive experience in and appreciation of conservation efforts as a lifelong student of nature. Teri also served for years as an interpretive guide at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.
