John Broderick
John attended WOPB’s first seedling meeting and joined WOPB in 2023, eager to support the mission which was in harmony with his own. His appreciation for the benefits of native flora and fauna and the ecosystems they serve developed early in his adult life. His enthusiasm and extensive expertise are contagious, drawn from his long career as a Landscape Horticulturist, 2026 will mark 50 years. He enjoys collecting seeds from local ecoregions and can assist with guided walks and paddling trips. Elected to WOPB’s board of directors in 2023, John is currently involved in WOPB’s work group addressing Demonstration Garden projects, focused at the local public recreation district, Pelican Park. John’s skills and experience are proving to be invaluable for WOPB. Thank you, John!
John’s favorite:
