Regional Landscapers Utilizing Native Species in Projects

Wild Ones Pontchartrain Basin Chapter provides this list alphabetically, as a community service and for information only. No businesses are recommended. WOPB recommends that consumers do their own research prior to hiring native landscapers. WOPB does recommend prioritizing that a landscaper selects locally sourced native species as they provide the greatest ecological services to local wildlife. It is recommended that customers check references and reviews of said landscaper’s previous projects. Native species can be identified through an internet search using their scientific name along with the key words “native range”. Also, if plants tags include additional names in parentheses, they are likely nativars or cultivars.
