On March 10, 2024, Amber King of WO-GBR, presented an inservice on both the City Nature Challenge and the iNaturalist app used to document naturally occurring flora and fauna species for this annual citizen science event. Observations added via iNaturalist by WOPB participants from April 26-29, will be included in the Baton Rouge region’s entries for the competition. The event is international and entries enable researchers around the world to better understand the current state of the natural world during those dates.
